Bio

Emily Gernild (b. 1985, Odense) is a Danish artist based in Copenhagen, Denmark. Her paintings of lush tableaux’s and classical subjects investigate traditions of still life. She holds a degree in Fine Arts from Funen Art Academy and Kunstakademie Düsseldorf. Her work has been exhibited internationally and is held in institutional collections.
